Justin Williams forced the tie-breaking goal underneath Alex Stalock with 8:04 to play, and the Kings defeated the Sharks 4-1 on Monday night, rallying all the way back from an 0-3 series deficit to force a decisive Game 7 on Wednesday, according to an ESPN.com report.

Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask made 31 saves on Saturday, and the defending Eastern Conference champions eliminated the Red Wings with a 4-2 win in Game 5, according to an ESPN.com report.

After finishing the regular season with the best record in the NHL, the Bruins advanced to the conference semifinals against the Canadiens.

Now up 2-1 in the best-of-seven series, the Penguins got off to a horrible start, but took charge in the final two periods.

Fourth-liners Mike Brown and Raffi Torres scored second-period goals to erase an early two-goal deficit and the Sharks rolled to a 7-2 victory Sunday night over the Kings and a 2-0 lead in their first-round series, according to an ESPN.com report.

Fans stood and waved gold and black towels as the Bruins claimed the Presidents' Trophy for the NHL's best regular-season record.

"We've still got to do some work here in order to get the trophy that we all really want," Boston coach Claude Julien said.

David Krejci scored two goals as the Bruins dominated the Sabres 4-1 Saturday in a game between teams at opposite ends of the standings.

Less than three months after a stroke put his season in jeopardy, Kris Letang is back to work for the Penguins.

The defenseman made his return Wednesday night as the Penguins hosted the Red Wings, winning 4-3 in a shootout. 

Letang had an assist while playing 22 minutes, 30 seconds in his return.

Johnny Boychuk scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period, Milan Lucic had two goals and the Bruins clinched the Eastern Conference's best record with a 5-2 victory over the Flyers on Saturday afternoon, according to an ESPN.com report.

Daniel Alfredsson had a goal and an assist and the Red Wings held off the Sabres 3-2 on Friday night, according to an ESPN.com report.

It was Red Wings coach Mike Babcock's 413th win for Detroit, which ties him with Jack Adams for the all-time franchise record.
